Ford's Furniture is a second-generation family business heading into the third generation. The first Ford's store was opened in 1936 in Gallatin, Tennessee by brothers Alvin and Harry Ford. Today, the business is carried on by sons Alvin Ford, Jr., Harry Ford, Jr., and Andy Ford. Also working in the business today are Alvin's sons, Pierce Ford and David Ferrell.
When you shop at Ford's Furniture you have the advantage of dealing with the owners--no waiting for an answer from the corporate office a thousand miles away, no run around, the buck stops here. The Ford's have built their business on the basic precept, "the customer comes first."
