PONDS PLUS Water Garden Center was opened by Joe and Carol Bindbeutel on November 1, 1981 and is a family-owned and operated business. We began as PETS PLUS, a full-service pet shop located in a small space on First Capitol Drive. Joe had the idea to put goldfish in a barrel inside the shop and this began the addition of the water garden business.
